Slay the Giant Book--Sold Out!

Have you ever wondered how someone could require quintuple bypass surgery out of the blue?
Or how someone could pass a stress test with flying colors on Monday and then drop dead on Wednesday? And how a lifelong runner could ever suffer a heart attack?
Have you ever thought about what your risk of developing heart disease might be? Do you know which cholesterol numbers are the most important? Or what constitutes a normal blood pressure reading? Do you understand how tobacco products can contribute to heart attacks?
Do you ever wonder about the effect of stress on your heart? Or what you should be eating for
optimal health?
Heart disease is the number one killer and disabler in our country. It claims one life every 30 seconds. More men and women will die of heart disease than of all cancer deaths combined. And yet, heart disease is predominantly preventable.
